Notifications are now grouped together when coming from the same app. This gives the user a more streamlined and visually pleasing experience when pulling down the notifications bar. On top of that, say goodbye to having to leave an app, just to reply to a text message. With Direct Reply, you can respond to messages within the notifications bar, letting you get back to what you were doing, without having to ever leave the app.

Doze Mode will automatically kick in saving battery when the phone is idle, useful to save precious power. Also with Data Saver turned on, the apps running in the background will not be able to use mobile data. With Nougat, you can rearrange the quick settings however you like. This allows you to change your desired setting quickly and conveniently with just a few taps.

Daydream Virtual Reality

Nougat brings Daydream compatibility to the Moto Z. Daydream, Google’s VR platform, with the device VR experience will be much more seamless.
