The PC chip maker has just been named the “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality” receiving a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundations 2017 Corporate Equality Index. CEI is a benchmarking tool that rates corporate equality policies and practices for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) employees including equal employment opportunity policies, non-discrimination protections, and benefits.
Some of the programs and initiatives for LGBT employees include equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination policies that cover all facet of diversity including sexual orientation, gender and gender identity. Health coverage is provided for US employees and their domestic partners. Just like and AMD processor works in any laptop, the company believes anyone can work at AMD.
