Airbnb’s CEO has joined the fray, not just speaking out against President Trump’s refugee ban but offering free housing to refugees affected. Under the company’s disaster response program, Airbnb will allow hosts to sign up to offer free housing while also subsiding costs of housing in areas where no hosts have volunteered.
