Looks like OPPO is all out to clear stocks, off the heels on the price announcement of the R7 and discounts on the R1, R5 and Neo 5, the phone maker has now decided to cut retail price on the mid ranger R1x to RM 1,198 from original price RM 1,398. Effective 17th August, the price on the R1x will be reduced across Malaysia at all OPPO concept stores and retail outlets.

The R1x is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM. Comes in a 5-inch 1280 x 720 LTPS display, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras, and ColorOS 2.0.1 that is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

As slim as it gets the smartphone is fitted in a 6.85mm body which makes pretty thin if thats your thing, and has sapphire glass back, which makes it extrmely light weighing in at approximately just 130 grams.
