The Acer Nitro 5 receives the Intel Coffee Lake-H treatment, which sees it become the latest addition to Acer’s casual gaming laptop series. The all-new Acer Nitro 5 will carry the 8th Generation Intel Core i7 and i7+ processors.
With its improved six-core design, it allows the Acer Nitro 5 to perform better than its predecessor in terms of gameplay performance. The laptop will be paired with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card to provide the best a casual gaming laptop has to offer.
You can also upgrade the Acer Nitro 5 to carry a 512GB of NVMe PCIe SSD with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory.
Much like its predecessor, the Acer Nitro 5 packs a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display for better visuals. It also carries Dolby Audio Premium alongside Acer TrueHarmony technology in its speakers. Better wireless performance is also expected with the Intel Wireless-AC 9560 2×2 802.11ac.
The Acer Nitro 5 will be available in May 2018, starting at US$749 (approx. RM2,896.98). However, it hasn’t been fully announced as to when the latest Acer Nitro 5 will be available in Malaysia.
