The wait is over as Acer has finally brought in their newest device in the Aspire series of notebooks to Malaysia, the Acer Aspire R 11.
At a compact size of 11.6″, this latest addition to the Acer convertible family has the smallest form factor in its category. It also holds the distinction for being the first device in the market that comes pre-installed with the newly released Windows 10 operating system.
Zero Air Gap technology is featured in the 11.6″ HD touch screen, giving the R 11 a more vibrant and crispier viewing experience. The screen is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass for better protection against scratches while also providing a smoother touch experience. A special anti-fingerprint coating is used to keep the screen clean and clear when using the touch screen. The R 11 comes with an 8-hour battery life in order to maximize the potential usability of the device.
Unique to the Aspire R 11 is the 360-degree dual torque hinge design, allowing the laptop to easily transform into four modes – notebook, pad, display and tent, for a more efficient and immersive user experience. The hinge is has been further augmented thanks to its extra torque, acting as a stabilizer for the panel and provides a wobble-free touch experience.
On the software side of things, apart from Windows 10, is Acer’s own series of applications including Acer TrueHarmony, which allows the R 11 to deliver lifelike audio that makes your entertainment experience more enjoyable. It also comes with Acer BluelightShield, which protects the eyes of the users from possibly damaging blue light. Acer Touch Tools allows users to capture, collect, write and share screen data with a touch of a finger while the Precision Touchpad feature works to enhance the accuracy and performance of the touchpad.
