Aside from the upscaled Playstation 4 Pro, Sony is also introducing a slimmer and lighter Playstation 4, a move similar to previous playstation systems.
The internal architecture of the system has been reduced in volume to 30% and weight by 25% and 16% compared to previous CUH-1000 and current CUH-1200 models.
The power consumption has also been cut to 34% and 28% compared to the very first and current models. Just like the Playstation 4 Pro, the slim Playstation 4 will also support HDR (High Dynamic Range) which enhances the production of brightness and darkness and add a wider range of colours.
The new slimmer and lighter Playstation 4 will be available in Malaysia in mid-October 2016 with the price of RM1349. Sony is also releasing a Playstation 4 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Bundle Pack on the 4th of November 2016 at the price of RM 1649. The Playstation Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare bundle will include the Playstation 4 System (Jet Black – CUH 2006AB01), one copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition and one voucher of Playstation Plus 12 Month Subscription.
