Logitech has completely reinvented presentation control with their new Spotlight Presentation Remote. Unlike a traditional slide clicker or laser pointer, the Spotlight enables you to highlight and magnify on-screen content to better underscore your point.

It uses mouse-like cursor control to play videos, open links and unlike a laser pointer, the cursor and highlights can be seen by a live audience as well as those on a video conference.

Spotlight works with a powerful app, which allows you to toggle pointer mode, set timed vibration alerts or activate more advanced functions like volume control with hand gestures.

It connects instantly via a USB receiver or Bluetooth. It features advanced “smart recharging”, which gives three hours of use out of a minute’s worth of charging. It’ll be available worldwide in March. The current MSRP has been set at US$130.
