Blizzard Entertainment will unveil the long-awaited Housing system for World of Warcraft at gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany, marking the first time players can experience the customisable in-game feature.

The announcement coincides with the Midnight expansion showcase, which will kick off with a world premiere of its cinematic trailer during Opening Night Live on 20 August at 4:00 a.m. AEST / 2:00 a.m. UTC+8. Following the premiere, a special Midnight Expansion Reveal broadcast will feature executive producer Holly Longdale, senior game director Ion Hazzikostas and creative director Chris Metzen as they explore new zones, gameplay mechanics and story elements on WoW’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.

Throughout gamescom, the WoW Community Stage will host developer panels, cosplay contests, and showcases for Mythic Dungeons and Arena battles. Fans can also meet developers and content creators, while a special Warcraft merchandise shop will feature Midnight-themed items.
