BenQ Doubles Down On Green Tech At COMPUTEX 2025

BenQ Group is aiming to slash carbon emissions by 30% at COMPUTEX 2025, even as it doubles the size of its exhibition footprint compared to last year—highlighting a major step forward in its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) efforts.

The Group will pursue ISO 20121 certification for sustainable event management for the third consecutive year. In 2023, BenQ was the first and only exhibitor to receive the certification, and in 2024, it successfully retained it while cutting emissions by 15% and implementing 21 ESG goals.

This year’s environmental initiatives include using 100% circular building materials and reusable foodware to drive both sustainability and a low-carbon event setup. Social efforts will focus on diversity and digital responsibility, including initiatives around financial fraud prevention and smart healthcare. On the governance front, BenQ aims to ensure 90% of purchases consist of local gifts and 80% of building materials are locally sourced.

Operating under the theme “AI WOW,” BenQ will showcase solutions from 23 affiliated companies that integrate AI with IT and OT to drive smarter, lower-carbon operations in sectors such as retail, transportation, and manufacturing.

Key highlights from BenQ’s COMPUTEX 2025 showcase include:

  • BenQ AI Golf Simulator, which provides real-time swing analysis;
  • AI Computing Power Area, featuring liquid cooling and high-speed network solutions;
  • AI Smart Retail, which uses AI for customer insights, meal recognition and anti-theft checkout;
  • ESG Green Area, spotlighting carbon reduction outcomes and green product innovations.

The event will also feature expert sessions under the theme “AI New Vision,” discussing the latest in AI application trends and sustainable digital transformation.
