Google Cloud has unveiled Google Agentspace, a new tool designed to enhance enterprise productivity by providing employees with AI-powered agents capable of accessing enterprise data, regardless of where it’s hosted. Combining Gemini’s advanced reasoning with Google-quality search, Google Agentspace helps employees efficiently complete complex tasks such as research, planning, content generation, and action-taking with a single prompt.

Managing Director for Southeast Asia at Google Cloud Mark Micallef, highlighted the potential of the tool, stating, “Google Agentspace provides enterprise workers with a team of AI agents that act as their helpful sidekicks, enabling them to focus on their most impactful work.”

The platform offers three key features for enterprises:
- NotebookLM Plus: Employees can upload information to synthesise and uncover insights with enhanced privacy and security features. The platform also includes experimental versions of Gemini 2.0 Flash.
- Information Discovery: Google Agentspace provides a single multimodal search agent to access company data across both unstructured and structured sources. It integrates with third-party applications such as Confluence, Google Drive, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Expert AI Agents: Enterprises can now deploy custom AI agents across various departments, enabling quicker research, content drafting, and task automation.

Google Agentspace is also built with security in mind, leveraging Google Cloud’s secure infrastructure to protect enterprise data.
Enterprises like FairPrice Group, Decathlon, and Nokia have already shown interest in using Google Agentspace to improve operational efficiency, streamline research, and accelerate decision-making processes.
Google Agentspace is available to enterprises in Malaysia through an allowlist, with early access sign-up now open.
