Garmin Malaysia Launches The Forerunner 745; The Perfect Smartwatch For Fitness Enthusiasts

Garmin Malaysia has officially launched the Forerunner 745, an advanced GPS smartwatch fabricated with a perfect balance of universal tracking features and lightweight composition.

In a basic design, it presents various smartwatch features like music playback, smart notifications and overall health monitoring. At its best, the Forerunner 745 is a mechanical beast with improved accuracy for tracking detailed training data, on-device workouts and much more.

Run, ride or swim, the Forerunner 745 is built to efficiently monitor statistics and analyse data to assist athletes in training and competition. It helps track training intensity and recommends workouts to optimise performances.

To accompany, dozens of built-in activity profiles, including triathlon, pool swimming, track running and more are equipped to keep each athlete’s training routine rounded out and flexible; activities can also be switched during multi workouts and brick training sessions with a convenient press of a button.

The watch also offers a smaller form factor with more color options to female athletes with smaller wrist sizes for a better fit. It weighs a mere 47g, designed so that users will hardly feel the weight of the watch.

Prior to a run or ride, athletes can plan and download routes using the course creator in Garmin Connect, which uses Trendline popularity routing to provide the best road, trail or mountain routes that are aggregated from those most traveled by fellow runners and cyclists. For athletes using platforms like Strava2 and Komoot, they can create courses that will seamlessly sync to the Forerunner 745.

On top of all that, the Forerunner 745 grants athletes the freedom to enjoy their favourite tunes on a run or during a workout without having to physically carry a phone. It features music playback with storage for up to 500 songs, plus the ability to sync playlists from streaming services including Spotify, or direct transfer of music from a computer.

In terms of battery life, the watch offers up to one week of battery life in smartwatch mode, up to 16 hours in GPS mode and up to 6 hours in GPS mode with music. It is available now in black, neo tropic, magma red or whitestone and is priced at RM 2,499 at Garmin Brand Stores, AECO Online Shop, Lazada, Shopee, and all Garmin authorized retailers.
