Glee alum and actress, Naya Rivera has been presumed dead after a boating on Lake Piru. Reports say the cause of her death is likely due to drowning.

Authorities are currently searching for the actress  after her 4-year-old son Josey was found floating alone on the rented boat.

It was reported that Rivera had rented a boat at 1pm on Wednesday, and three hours later, a boater found her child in the boat by himself. Helicopters along with drones and dive teams are being deployed in search for the actress.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Rivera’s son, who father is Ryan Dorsey  told authorities that he and his mother went for a swim, but his mother never returned to the boat.

On Tuesday, Rivera had tweeted a photo of her kissing her son.
