E3 2017 Will be Open to the Public for a Fee

E3 is one of the largest expos, but it has always been closed to the public – rarely even opening up to YouTubers or tech bloggers. In fact, only known industry and media pros seemed to be able to get access. For 2017, this changes. Gamespot was the first to announce that the Entertainment Software Association will be opening its doors to the public, but for a price. 15,000 general access tickets will be made available to the public on the 13th of February for US$150. Prices will go up by US$100 after that first day, so consider that an early bird discount.

The organisers have decided to do this based on feedback from both publishers and the attendees at last year’s public E3 Live event.

E3 2017 will happen at the Los Angeles Convention Centre between the 13th and 15th of June.
