There can be no denying that we live in a strange world. For the most part, people tend to follow either cultural or societal norms. Every now and then, you come across the odd eccentric, and then there’s Elon Musk. Musk is probably as eccentric as it gets, but he also happens to be a freaking billionaire and the closest we’ve gotten to a real life Tony Stark.
When he’s not busy making Tesla’s stock price fall via his tweets or making trucks of the future, the man is busy being a loving partner to Canadian singer Grimes, who let’s face it is equally as weird.. but good weird.
That being said, the couple have just welcomed their first child together (Elon’s sixth) and it’s safe to say that his name isn’t exactly the most conventional. Musk let slip the name of his new son via Twitter when someone asked him for updates on the baby. The South African replied “X Æ A-12 Musk”.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that’s some sort of promo code for DahMakan or something but I assure you, he’s not kidding. Grimes took to Twitter to explain the meaning behind their child’s name

And if you’re wondering how to pronounce that, well.. it’s obviously pronounced like this

Interesting stuff Musk and Grimes. I may not know how exactly to pronounce it but this kids name is officially my new Wi-Fi password. Heck, it’s probably theirs and they just needed a way to remember the damn thing.
Whatever it is, you can’t help but to be happy for the power couple. Not sure if X Æ A-12 is going to grow up loving his name but the more unique the better, right? Plus how fitting is it that he’s wearing an “OCCUPY MARS” tee as he cradles the person who’s probably going to be the first one to do so in the year 2045 or something eh?
