As the leading company behind anime fighting games, Arc System Works has a wealth of fighters to choose from. Accordingly, the company reveals three new characters for their upcoming tag-team crossover game, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.

Following the pattern of previous announcements, this trailer unveils three characters. First is Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4 Arena, followed by Vatista from UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH (UNIEL), and Hakumen from Blazblue: Central Fiction. This thus brings the total characters revealed to 31 out of 40. These characters are downloadable add-ons as part of a character pack priced at $4.99.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is a mashup of four key franchises. Specifically, the BlazBlue series, Persona 4 Arena (based off the JRPG), UNIEL, and American-show RWBY represent this game’s roster. The base game comes with a varied roster of 20 characters from these series, with the rest being downloadable content.
The title prices at $49.99. Besides that, the bundle for all DLC characters (barring two free characters, Yang and Blake) cost $19.99. Early adopters of the game will get to download the first character pack, featuring Persona 4’s Kanji Tatsumi, BlazBlue’s Platinum the Trinity, and UNIEL’s Orie for free.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle launches for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 on 31st May in Asia and Japan, and 5th June in North America.
