When we first saw and felt the HTC 10 about a month ago, we could not hold back our feelings about the device, it felt as though that this is how a smartphone should be made. Full metal body, nicely weighted that resonates with strength and robustness, a finish that exudes exclusivity and all this by just looking and holding the phone!.
The following week when we were handed to unit for review, we still could not forget the time we spent together, till today. HTC has been making handheld digital assistants for decades, these guys are not here for the bandwagon but have dedicated thousands of man-hours perfecting the communication tool. While many manufacturers just slap some components around give it a name and call it a smartphone, HTC is an artisan dead set in producing the best product they can, even if it takes a beating on their P&L, the company is not out to fool anyone! After all these folks introduced to the world the first android OS with the G1 and when on to make the first full touchscreen with HTC Magic.
Other innovation include BoomSound, paying attention to sound quality, the speaker arrangement were realigned to pump out good music. The company was also emphasising on camera with HTC One threatening the existence of point and shoots, way before any others ever did expect for Nokia with the N90. Not short on features, the company is at the milestone of creation with the new HTC 10 imbued with top notch specifications that is balanced with their own customised UI.
After being attracted to the Carbon Grey HTC 10 the release of Camilia Red is looking even more gorgeous, not many flagships are bold to introduce flamboyant colour combination, but then again this is HTC. Already available in Taiwan, Japan and US, we hope Malaysia will see the bright maroon in retail with a drop in price to sweeten the deal. 🙂
