Since Pokémon GO was first launched, it took the world by storm and people have been actively roaming in search of Pokémons. It started off with the most notable feature, gym battles and later received updates adding more Pokémons to the list until recently, a trading feature. The game received a lot of hype during its launch but slowly died off over time and people slowly stopped playing. With the introduction of the PvP battle, Niantic could potentially see a rise in the number of players again.
