86 Million Netflix Viewers Can Watch Malaysian TV Shows

netflixMention internet streaming media network and the name that comes up will be Netflix, the original series from the network has already won Emmy’s, with Orange The New Black, Marco Polo, Fuller House and made stars of some of the formerly unknown actors. Having already established in Malaysia, the natural progression for the online streaming powerhouse is to start introducing local shows.

Beginning later this year, subscribers can look forward to catch popular dramas that were aired in our airwaves like TV comedy series Kopitiam and Ages of Glory for not only Malaysians but to over 86 million of its members around the world. This was made possible with a content agreement the company signed up with Double Vision one of Malaysia’s largest production companies and a leading creator of Asian entertainment.

  • Show me the Money
  • Moving On
  • Age of Glory (S1-2)
  • Footprints in the Sand
  • The Iron Lady
  • Forget Me Not
  • Summer Brothers

Netflix is slowly making its presence felt with already setting up an office and seeks to gain stronger footprint in the region, making the likes of iflix an incumbent Malaysian based streaming provider to push a notch further in their activities or face being steam rolled by the US giant.
