Divoom just revealed a new speaker with a programmable LED board. The Timebox Mini is a Bluetooth 4.0 SMART speaker that is both for indoor an outdoor use.
It comes with a mobile application where you can create your own pixel art and link designs together into an animated clip to display on the speaker. Your masterpieces can be shared through an online gallery as well. The speaker comes with a chat system, where two users can invite each other as exclusive partners. Apart from standard chat functions, you can send emoji and pixel designs to display on the partner’s Timebox Mini.
Another featured function is the notification system. Users can choose to enable notifications from certain social media apps, including WhatsApp, Instagram and others, where your speaker will flash the pixel logo when you get a notification.
The TimeBox Mini comes fitted with premium sounds through its 2″ 5-Watt full range driver, where it’s further tuned with the latest DSP (Digital Sound Processing) technology.
Users can select their preferences for colour, brigtness and music in sleep aid and alarm functions. It also comes in more than 30 preset scenery. Other built in functions include check time or weather, animated patterns, music equalizer, DJ turntable, etc.
The Timebox Mini is available for $49.90 (approx RM230) on Amazon.com. The Timebox app is available at the App Store and Google Play Store.
