MCT Group has officially launched the #12to12 Shopping Marathon @ One City” event. This event will run daily between 16, June 2016, until 3, July 2016, from 12pm to 12am at The Square, One City in USJ. With most usual standard of operating hours around the city, most shops usually close at 10pm, d are most residents reach home late and are unable to purchase the items they desire, this event provides shoppers with the opportunity to do shopping without rush after work.
Datuk Lim Kok Boon, Executive Director of the MCT Group further support added “based on a market research report, the bulk of people residing within a 20km radius from One City are young dual income families but with limited time to do their shopping as the surrounding malls will close at 10pm everyday, when they have just brave through traffic jams after work and completed their daily routines. We want to give these people a place to come to even after usual hours.”
The upcoming fair is filled with multitude of activities and offerings, including for book lovers, you will not want to miss out Big Bad Wolf Book Sale, a hit in Mines, the BBW is now in Subang. For tech trendy folks, looking forward for the Geek! Digital Fair. This Fair will be showcased with latest gadgets, computers, and telecommunication from popular brands such as Acer, Lenovo, Asus, Canon and other much sought after company’s as well.
Amping up the 2 weeks, MCT has planned daily lucky draw, with just a purchase of an item during the event, you get a chance for lucky draw with great prizes reserved for winners. At 10.30pm, there will also be big surprise of “Crazy Sale”. Be sure to check it out.
There’s also of discounts and promotion vouchers given away for dining at selected restaurant and cafe planned in the pipeline.
For those who dont have their own transport, fret not…there will be shuttle bus provided to get you to The Square. The pickup location will be from SS15 post office, Taylor’s University @ Lakeside (Main Entrance), Sunway University, Monash University, USJ 7 and BRT Station (opposite da:men). For students specifically, upon taking this free ride, you will get a voucher that can be used to purchase items from the fair at discounts, one just needs to show the student ID to get one. Free Flying
One City is also declared as a drone free area, visitors can fly their drones freely around the vicinity of the mall as long you don’t disrupt the peace. There is a park right next to the mall for fans to try put the drones or to just hang out in the evening. As the mall is scheduled to open in coming months, the event offers as a preview of whats to come when its officially opened. A place to get latest tech gadgets, toys and gaming peripherals including a huge e Sports gaming centre.
