3 New Covid 19 Cluster Emerge

With the easing of Covid 19 lockdown takes place in the country, Malaysians should be prepared to witness new clusters emerging, a notable feature that is bound to appear on our newsfeed for the next couple of months or years.

In today’s media briefing, Deputy Director General MOH gave his Covid 19 case tally of 57 together with the discovery of 3 new clusters in Pahang. While all the older clusters seem to be fairing well with zero to single digit cases, these 3 new sectors will add to existing zones now classified as ‘under watch’. The 3 clusters are from a farm in Bera, timber factory and a construction site in Maran joining Pudu, Sepang Migrant Depot and Kg Sungai Lui who are all just as active. This bring the total to 6 cluster which is active in the country, among them Kg Sungai Lui is at 209, Pudu at 76 and DTI Sepang 60 adding another 24 today.

All three location in Pahang detected single digit cases among the workers, MOH is already at the scene with containment activity. Health officials are reported to be conducting thorough screening and disinfection of the area. All the cases were of foreign workers.
