Thirteen indie game developers have been shortlisted as finalists in the Pitch Competition at gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025, selected from more than 100 global submissions.
The finalists, representing studios from Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the United States and other countries, will compete live on 17 October across three categories: Best Visual, Best Game Design and Most Anticipated Game. Winners in each category will receive a cash prize of US$1,500.

Judges include industry figures such as Kyle Billings, Director of Portfolio Strategy at Epic Games; Patrick Johnson, Senior Discovery Scout at Playstack; Hiro Ishige, Head of Game Business at Shochiku Co., Ltd.; Adam Snook, Head of Business Development at Kwalee; and Ariel Pai, Senior Product Scout & Business Development Manager at PQube. Audience votes will also contribute to the “Most Anticipated Game” award.
The competition, backed by BACKND and Epic Games Store, is regarded as one of the most anticipated highlights of the joint event, providing indie developers with international exposure and potential opportunities for funding and publishing.
gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show runs from 16 to 19 October in Bangkok, with the Pitch Competition scheduled for 17 October.
