Yoodo, the 100% digital mobile service is taking the popular mobile game, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG) to whole new heights with the launch of Yoodo PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship 2019!
The first ever PUBG Mobile Campus Championships (PMCC) 2019 will have participation of 6000 students across Malaysia battling for their share of the RM 60,000 prize pool. The winning team will also receive 1 year mobile plan from Yoodo as well as an exclusive direct invite to the Grand Finale of PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) 2020.
The tournament will kick off on 24 September with 7 separate regional qualifiers and finals before the grand finale on 24 November featuring the top 16 teams. Registrations for the competition are now open and students can apply to participate, check out the link here!
“Our aim when we ventured into eSports was to cultivate and highlight local gaming talent,” said Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo.
“PMCC 2019 is the evolutions of these efforts, taking a more grassroots approach to reach the gamer communities where they are. We know there are many talented famers waiting to be unearthed and we look forward to shining a spotlight on them through PMCC 2019.”
The PMCC 2019 road show series will span 28-days across 14 universities between 23rd September to 25th October. Students will also be able to redeem tournament promos, exclusive merch and PUBG Mobile Fun matches.
