A favourite among users here, Xiaomi has announced that the latest addition to the Xiaomi Redmi Note series is now available in Malaysia. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features similar looks, but with upgraded internals when compared to its predecessor. Two variants will be available to Malaysian consumers, with a sticker price of RM 799.
The first model will be a 3GB/32GB RAM/Storage combo which is now available from Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, with a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras, as well as a large 4,100mAh battery. It will be available in either Gold or Black. Interestingly, it comes with MIUI 8, which allows the dual-sim phone to support dual apps running on the same phone.
For those who are looking for more, there will be a 4GB/64GB model in the pipeline for Malaysia. However due to global shortages, the model will be heading to Malaysia a bit sooner – Xiaomi will announce once the model is heading here to Malaysia, along with the suggested pricing.
