Malaysia Developers Day concluded with the winning team pocketing US$10,000 by developing a baby product sharing app that will help redistribute unutillised items to others.

Team Baby Blocks took part in the 24 hour hackaton jointly organised by MCMC and AT&T in the annual event competing with over 161 teams from all over Asia to come up tops.  A total of 33 apps were developed from the event in-line with MCMC theme this year on Internet of Things.

Second prize winners included an app that addresses issues of personal safety at home and an app that can detect viral disease earlier by using data analytics on smart devices from high risk insurers.
