The successor of Skyrim – Elder Scrolls 6 is already been announced and developing by Bethesda as we speak. The triple-A title was revealed back in November 18 2018 which Bethesda posted up had a 30 seconds teaser trailer on YouTube – and everyone took an arrow to the knee, man. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim releases 7 years ago and it has been one of the most heavily-modded game out there, today. We thought that it would take maximum 5 years of development because Oblivion was released back in 2006. Instead in 2014, we got Elder Scrolls Online – which I find interesting – for a few hours.
Every year we expected Bethesda to show up at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), but they were a no-show – until E3 2018, they dropped the bomb. However since the teaser trailer went up online late last year, we could definitely expect something more insightful on this year’s E3 – which will be commencing around June 2019.
In an interview with Gameslice on YouTubeLive E3 2018, Bethesda’s Todd Howard mentioned that the teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls 6 contains “hints at where it’s set”. He also adds that there are “some things there to pick apart but we’ll let our fans do that.”
There’s not much that we know about TES6 but fans have made every premonition there is out there to solve the long awaited puzzle. However no matter how you stick your eyes to it, the teaser trailer is simply showing a ground landscape with some mounting rocks – leading to only one popular guess, a segment of Tamriel – High Rock. Valenwood also rise to the equation but some say its topography don’t seem to fit the criteria from the teaser trailer. A tweet by Leon Hurly suggested the lost island of Yokuda could also fit the picturesque description, with the rocky terrain in the trailer arguably looking like it has been beaten up by the ocean. But until we got the official news from Bethesda, we could only fantasize.
We hope that Bethesda got a gift for everyone on this year’s E3.
