Just when you thought you could coshare live updates on their current location. Gone are the days of telling people “I am on the way!” when in actual fact, you have just gotten up.

This end-to-end encrypted feature allows you to share live updates of your location to people on your contacts list. You can even decide on how long you want it to be displayed for; it can be 15 minutes, an hour or even eight hours.

Simply look under the ‘Location’ tab and look for the ‘Share Live Location’ feature. This not only works in a one-on-one conversation but also in group chats. By sharing your live location in a group chat, everyone in the group will be able to view it. If everyone shares their location in the same group chat, all locations will be visible on the same map.

Now you can have an active race among your friends to see who would reach the destination first.
