The blue ticks to the rescue!
WhatsApp just updated to its latest version, bringing in one very significant feature that some users might find helpful as well as annoying. Behold, the double ticks that turns BLUE!
That’s right, when the messages are officially read by the user, the double ticks turn blue. According to WhatsApp’s official FAQ site, in a group chat, double ticks appear when all participants in the group have received your message. The two blue check marks will only appear when all participants in the group have read your message.
Well, so far I haven’t seen any blue ticks in my group chats, but the blue check is definitely there for personal chats. More reasons to annoy your friend that has read your messages but never reply? or is it just another way to restrict yourself from using the app cause you value privacy and the right to choose whether to reply or not.
I suspect the blue colour suggestion came from Facebook, what do you think?
