The latest Vivo V series models, V11 and V11i, makes its official debut in Malaysia. Both devices add powered-by-AI offerings to Vivo’s product line-up.
The Vivo V11 features the innovative Halo FullView Display, paired with the brand’s Starry Night and Nebula fusion colours. The smartphone features a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 6.41-inch Super AMOLED Halo FullView Display with a 91.27% screen-to-body ratio. The display is enclosed within a curved 3D body, paired with an ultra-thin 1.76mm side bezels. This creates an immersive viewing experience that fits perfectly in your hand.
The V11 is also the first in the V series to incorporate In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology. The technology first debuted in CES earlier this year and has effectively created bigger screens without compromising on security options.
AI-powered Camera
AI-powered CameraWith the V11’s AI camera, Vivo steps up to answer consumer demand for more powerful photography features. The V11 features a 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera with a large f/1.9 aperture. Additionally, the 12MP rear camera boasts Dual Pixel Sensors with 24 million photosensitive units. It allows for higher light sensitivity.
Not forgetting its selfie prowess, the device is also equipped with a 25MP front camera. On this front, Vivo introduces its AI Face Shaping technology with an AI face-modelling algorithm. The technology adds individual treatments to your facial features, which helps in creating beautiful yet natural selfies.
Beyond photography, the V11 expands the AI mobile experience across the board with Vivo’s AI assistant Jovi, with features like Jovi Smart Scene, Google Lens and Google Assistant.
The V11 houses a Snapdragon 660AIE processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The latest Funtouch OS 4.5 (based on Android 8.1) and Vivo’s Jovi AI Engine also work together to allocate CPU and memory resources efficiently to handle multiple complex operations.
The V11 will be available starting tomorrow, 15 September 2018 and priced at RM1,699. The lower-spec V11i, priced at RM1,299, is making its way into the market on 21 September 2018. Both variants is going to be available at all Vivo concept stores and authorised resellers nationwide
