
The collaboration from private sector with the educational organisation is heavily encouraged in this country the wealth of information and know how that this leads to is invaluable, Huawei Malaysia views this as part of its initiative to develop ICT talent in the country.
In the past five years, Huawei Malaysia has established programs such as the Seeds for the Future for the purpose of inculcating technology based knowledge among students. Scholarship is another category the company is proud of and has committed to offer RM1,500,000 in scholarships at Malaysia’s top universities in the next five years.
The first to receive the scholarship is University of Malaya with RM300,000 available for students, the agreement was signed between Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International), University of Malay Prof. Dr. Kamila Ghazali and Human Resources Director, Malaysia Representative Office, Huawei Malaysia Mr Peter Fangpan. Apart from this, Huawei will be offering 200 Malaysian students job opportunity at its local office or even in the overseas units.
