Covid-19 has hit the globe unlike any other viral disease before, the pandemic has now turned Europe and USA into a hotbed with the number of cases deaths are now surpassing China, where it was first discovered. Just like flu, the coronavirus is easily contracted via droplets, just being in contact with another person who is positive could pass on to the next person. This is probably how UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the latest high profile individual to get the virus.

Boris Johnson, said on Friday he had tested positive for the coronavirus, reported Sputnik news agency.

“Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

This comes after Prince Charles, heir to the throne of England was also tested positive a couple of days ago and has since gone into isolation. England is still grappling with the magnitude of whats about to hit the country, Boris Johnson who only recently became the Prime Minister of the nation after a tumultuous Brexit battle, will now have to battle the unseen enemy from a confined space. The situation brings back World War 2 memory, when Winston Churchill the then Prime Minister of Great Britain defeated German, Nazi’s from an underground bunker, deep below the London streets.
