Twitter is experimenting a feature that adds new labels on conversation threads. Author, mention and follow are the labels and are designed to make the platform easier to follow. Twitter tested an original tweeter label a few months ago to clarify who started a thread and to cut down on spam. In March, software engineer Jane Manchun Wong discovered a prototype of a ”subscribe to conversation’ that allow users to follow a thread without liking or replying to it.
With Twtter, an experimental app – the company is trying out nested and colour-coded reply. Let’s wait and see if these changes will be introduced next.
