On the sports end, there will be live streams of WNBA, PGA Tour, and MLB; with MLB featuring look-ins and highlights, as well as 2 other programs STADIUM and the Players’ Tribune, both featuring conversation based program as well as interviews and direct interactions.

For news, Bloomberg will debut a 24/7 rolling breaking news network that will be global, live, social and exclusively on Twitter. The Verge, BuzzFeed News and Cheddar will also stream hosted programs on predetermined timeslots.

The entertainment section sees LiveNation streaming concerts exclusively on Twitter, starting with a series featuring Zac Brown Band, Train, Portugal. The Man, August Alsina and Marian Hill. IMG Fashion and Propagate will be streaming fashion programs and entertainment shows respectively.

“We could not be prouder of the success we have achieved so quickly since launching live streaming premium content. Last quarter, we streamed over 800 hours of live premium content from leading brands across sports, esports, news, and entertainment,” said Twitter COO Anthony Noto. “Adding these 12 new live deals tonight is a testament to the success of our only-on-Twitter experience, combining high quality streaming video with our only-on-Twitter conversation.”
