PC.com visited the booth during the fair and was thrilled with the Archer VR2800v a VoIP all-in-one DSL Modem Router powered with a Broadcom Dual Core 1GHz CPU.

The great proposition of this particular Archer model is the internet speed it offers, of up to 350Mbps or 3.5x faster than its predecessor. Which means, consumers can now stream hours of highest-definition video, play games uninterrupted all connected at the same time. Delivering a blistering speed of 2.8Gbps of dual band Wi-Fi, 600Mbps of 2.4GHz for web browsing, emailing, and video chatting. And 2167Mbps of 5GHz on 802.11ac wave 2 using NitroQAM(1024QAM) and 4-Stream technology for 25% increased wireless performance. The 4×4 MU-MIMO sends 4x faster Wi-Fi to all connected devices, and with beamforming it provides wider, targeted wireless coverage.
Dect Phone Killer
Doubling up as a Dect base station, offices can replace traditional or dont need to invest in telephony system with this router. According to TP Link the Archer VR2800v can connect up to six Dect handsets or CAT-iq 2.0 phones, as well as two analog telephones, all at once. With a proprietary app, the office environment can also be transformed to make VoIP calls with a smartphone, a solution many will find usefull, it also comes with 540 minutes of voicemail with 512MB of internal storage.
