There was a time when subscribing for a telephone or internet line took days and waiting to get an appointment for the technician (who everybody loved to see ring the door bell) was weeks or even months before you got any of the service installed for your home or office. Of course we are talking about way back, when customers were less important and politicians ruled Malaysia.
Today the customer is king, talk to any service provider in the country and they will give an arm to get consumers to take up their services or goods. Those who still think they know best and refuse to listen will see themselves struggling in their business or worst face the wrath on social media and eventually close shop. Telekom Malaysia has been quick in fact the company was the first to react when the Ministry of Communication requested operators to drop prices for internet service. Instantly, the ISP offered plans as low as RM30 without compromising speeds. These are the kind of actions consumers would like to encounter and for those who have been subscribing were given a boost in speeds, another positive move for retention.

Now, the experience for new customers will be even more comfortable knowing they can sign up for the Unifi plan and have the TM technician knock on the door to install within 24 hours. Telekom Malaysia has also issued a disclaimer on the availability of slots, but for the company to even publicise such and audacious promise is laudable, don’t forget this is the same GLC that could not be budged just 1 year ago.
The free service which the telco mentions is worth RM200 is applicable for Unifi broadband package RM79 and RM129, there is no better time to enjoy high speed, the convenience and most of all the customer is appreciated!
