Dead Cells has been one of my most anticipated titles coming to mobile and it is now officially available on Android. And it’s early too, as they previously announced a release date on June 3 (in the U.S.), and it’s come with a discount too. The game is currently going cheaper at a launch sale price reportedly a 10% discount from $10 to $9. In Malaysia’s Google Play Store however, there seems to be only one price at RM29.99.
That is still waaay cheaper than any other platforms you could play the game on such as Steam, where the game retails for $25 (~RM106). Either way, it’s a stellar game for a low low price.

“Dead Cells is an award-winning roguelike metroidvania action platformer. Explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle… That is, assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers. To beat the game, you’ll have to master frantic 2D combat, with the ever-present threat of permadeath looming.”
It’s basically a fight off a bunch of enemies, get weapons and skills to fight bosses and enemies looming around, and die trying. No literally, you die and that’s it, start all over again. But that’s the fun part, you know? Every playthrough is marginally different from your first, meaning Dead Cells offers mobile players great replayability value. The perfect companion for mobile, if you ask me.
