With the state of the economy these days, we’ve all probably joked about getting a sugar daddy or sugar mommy at least once. Odds are though, none of us actually know how to go about it. One would think that the whole sugar daddy thing would be illegal, but as it turns out, it’s not! There are apparently no laws against couple matching services in Malaysia, unless of course it’s for prostitution or other illegal services.
That being said, more and more Malaysians are gradually accepting Sugar Dating as a lifestyle choice, Sugarbook, Asia’s most-critically acclaimed Sugar Daddy Dating platform, held Malaysia’s first ever two-for-one Speed Dating event with its venue partner Suzie Wong KL.
Spotted at the event were pageants from Miss Universe Malaysia partying and participating in Sugarbook’s Speed Dating with high rollers from various industries. As its slogan reads, “Chat. Negotiate. Meet.”, Sugarbook broke barriers for its members to engage and meet each other in real life from “Online-to-Offline”.
Speaking at the party, Mr. Darren Chan, Sugarbook’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said,
“A sugar relationship is the modern kind of dating where the man and woman usually known as the Sugar Daddy and Sugar Baby states their unique wants and needs before entering into any sugar relationship”.
“I believe that it would be extremely difficult to achieve our goals in life without money, more so if we cultivate relationships without it. As the saying goes, money can’t buy you happiness neither does poverty, but money definitely make things easier and that includes building relationships.”
I love blanket terms like “modern dating”. Doesn’t sound sketchy at all!
At the event, members were free to mingle and connect in complete privacy. Though based on the pictures from the event, they probably could’ve done better than masquerade masks and blurred out faces.
The rich and the beautiful collide in a seductive masquerade setting where guests had a great time indulging in savoury canapés and appetizers. As this is the platform’s first private and exclusive party for Premium members, Sugarbook held a never been done before dating activity and even came up with a naughty card game for members to stand a chance to win a grand mysterious gift. How exciting!
To date, the dating platform has accrued a whopping 300,000 over members in the APAC region since its launch in January 2017. To be fair, with a tagline like “Where Romance Meets Finance”, it’s no surprise that Sugarbook is Asia’s most critically-acclaimed Sugar Daddy Dating platform.
If the look of this guy’s face is anything to go by, the app is worth downloading, so maybe check it out and let us know how it goes!
