The Tamagotchi finally makes a return after 20 years. Collaborating with the Pokemon Company, Tamagotchi is set to release literal pocket monsters via an Eevee Tamagotchi.

The pixellated Eevee will be able to evolve into one of eight Eeveelutions: Water-type Vaporeon, electric-type Jolteon, fire-type Flareon, psychic-type Espeon, dark-type Umbreon, grass-type Leafeon, ice-type Glaceon or fairy-type Sylveon.

Users will be able to feed it, play with it, and hopefully not forget its at the bottom of their bag. The Tamagotchi comes in two different shell colors will be available starting in Japan on January 26. For those living outside of Japan, do expect to pay a little more than the price the locals will be paying.

Tamagotchi’s were a virtual toy pet from the ’90s that made a comeback last year for their anniversary with Bandai America releasing a new, smaller line called Tamagotchi Nano with the original Japanese designs.
