Synology has unveiled its latest high-performance storage solutions for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and professional users: the DS1825+ and DS1525+. Designed to offer exceptional performance, scalability, and reliability, these models cater to growing data management needs.

The DS1825+ and DS1525+ feature dual 2.5GbE ports for optimal performance. The DS1525+ can be upgraded to 10GbE, while the DS1825+ supports 10GBASE-T or 10/25GbE network cards via PCIe 3.0. Both systems come with two M.2 slots for creating all-flash cache or storage pools, boosting performance for demanding workloads.

The DS1825+ delivers up to 2,239 MB/s read and 1,573 MB/s write, while the DS1525+ achieves up to 1,181 MB/s read and 1,180 MB/s write.

Both models offer scalability with support for up to two 5-bay DX525 expansion units, enabling users to expand storage capacity as needed. The DS1525+ supports up to 300 TB of raw storage, and the DS1825+ offers up to 360 TB when fully expanded. These systems are tested with over 7,000 hours of drive compatibility testing to ensure reliable long-term performance.

Powered by Synology’s DiskStation Manager (DSM), the DS1825+ and DS1525+ provide versatile features, including Synology Drive for private cloud capabilities, Active Backup Suite for comprehensive device protection, and Surveillance Station for scalable video management and intelligent analytics.
