In a recent update to the Steam client, support for the Dualshock 4 controller was included. This includes all of its features, with custom settings for the LEDs on the controller, cursor control over the joystick and much, much more.

The full range of APIs that Steam controllers have access to is also given to the PS4 controller. Users can also set their own preferences for haptic feedback. Even the trackpad and gyroscope are fully enabled on Steam.
