Let’s face it. For planet earth, the past couple of months or so has been nothing short of a living hell. Breakouts are pretty much happening everywhere; from fires in the Amazon to fires in Indonesia to pimples on my face, it’s safe to say that we’re not really taking care of our planet (or my face) very well.

As sure as day becomes night, the annual haze that encompasses Malaysia is back. With AQI readings only becoming worse in spite of cloud seeding, it would seem like the haze here to stay. Thus far, cloud seeding hasn’t worked, nor praying for rain. It’s only a matter of time before we go all “Looking For a Rain God” in this joint!

That being said, to help you get through the hazy season, Spotify Malaysia has created a haze themed playlist and it’s nothing short of brilliant. Titled “Hazed & Confused” and with a description like “Haze is a strong word, but we really really don’t like you.”, the playlist is filled with punny and witty homages to haze related things. Starting with Maroon 5’s Harder to breathe and featuring classics such as Billy Joel’s We didn’t Start The Fire, the playlist definitely lightens the already somber mood in the country.
