SilverStone, who create a load of small form factor PCs, have unveiled yet another slim-profile CPU cooler. The Nitrogon NT08-115XP is designed for super tight builds. It has a 100% copper centre and base with extruding aluminium fins, making it good for PCs up to 65W. Which is reasonable, given the power-hungry AMD FX line-up is already on its way out and doesn’t have any support Mini-ITX boards anyway.

In fact, Silverstone is targeting builds that are even smaller than ITX, such as Intel’s Mini-STX platform – which is compatible with SilverStone’s own VT01.

The super-slim 80mm fan attached has PWM control has a low-noise output. At just 3.3cm tall, the NT08-115XP is an excellent upgrade for anyone building compact systems. It even has an easy push-pin design for ease of installation.
