Xbox Game Pass subscibtion service was introduced back in March, promising to giving gamers unlimited access to more than 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 backward compatible games on Xbox One for $9.99 USD (approx. RM50) per month.

Now with that much games to try out, storage is going to be a slight issue. Seagate is giving Xbox gamers a solution. The Seagate Game Drive is designed exclusively for Xbox, giving gamers up to 4TB of much needed extra storage space for their current library and games from the Xbox Game Pass catalog.

If you didn’t already know, Game Pass allows you to download titles directly to the console – no streaming or connectivity issues. If you like a game, Game Pass subscribers can buy it at an exclusive discount, so you can make them part of your permanent library.

Back to Seagate’s Game Drive for Xbox. Game Drive for Xbox is compatible with both Xbox One and Xbox 360, and plugs directly into any USB port on the console. USB 3.0 delivers fast gaming—just like playing from the console’s hard drive.

Plug-and-play means there is no need for extra installation or wires.  Xbox automatically detects the drive and walks the user through a hassle-free setup that will have the drive game-ready in minutes.

The Game Drive is designed to be compact, so gamers can take their favourite games from the Xbox Game Pass catalog along with them. Gamers can plug into another Xbox and play the games you love. It doesn’t need a separate power cord.

The Seagate Game Drive for Xbox Game Pass Special Edition comes in white and will be available this month at select Seagate resellers. The 2TB version has an MSRP of $89.99 (approx. RM 390)  and includes a one-month Xbox Game Pass membership. The 4TB version has an MSRP of $129.99 (approx. RM 560) and includes a two-month Xbox Game Pass membership.
