Recently acquired Sandisk by Western Digital launched the updated SanDisk SSD Plus, expanding its portfolio of consumer SSD storage solutions in Malaysia. The new generation external storage solution will be ideal for laptop or notebook users who are inundated with torrent of data that just cant fit into their slim systems.
With improved, boot-up and shutdown times, better application response and data transfer and overall system performance, the need to replace an aging laptop or desktop PC becomes questionable. The SSD can read speeds of up to 535MB/s and deliver up to 20X the performance of a typical laptop hard disk drive.
The SanDisk SSD Plus features TLC NAND flash memory and SLC caching to maximise read and write speeds as well as burst performance.
Pricing and Availability
SanDisk SSD Plus come with a three-year warranty and will be available in capacities of 120GB, 240GB and 480GB with MSRP of MYR239, MYR499 and MYR629 respectively.
