Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has announced the global availability of its latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy S25 series, bringing advanced AI-powered features and hardware optimisations to enhance everyday mobile experiences. The new smartphones, now available in Malaysia, feature One UI 7 and integrate Gemini AI at launch, supporting 46 languages.
According to TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, the Galaxy S25 series represents a “fundamental shift” in smartphone interaction, offering an AI companion designed to provide seamless and intuitive solutions in daily life.
The Galaxy S25 series introduces AI agents with multimodal capabilities, allowing users to interact naturally using speech, text, videos, and images. The Now Brief feature provides personalised suggestions throughout the day, while the Now Bar serves as a hub for ongoing activities. Productivity tools such as Writing Assist and Drawing Assist further enhance user experiences.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S25 series with the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, ensuring faster on-device AI processing. Custom enhancements like ProScaler and the mobile Digital Natural Image Engine (mDNIe) improve AI-powered image processing and display efficiency. The Galaxy S25 Ultra debuts a new 50MP ultrawide camera sensor, alongside professional-grade features such as Virtual Aperture and Samsung Log for enhanced photography and videography.
For the first time, the Galaxy S25 series supports Content Credentials, a digital content provenance standard developed by the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA). Samsung has joined the coalition alongside industry leaders including Adobe, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Google to establish a universal standard for verifying AI-generated and edited content.
The Galaxy S25 series is available in a range of colours, including Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Black, Titanium Whitesilver, and Titanium Gray for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ come in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icyblue, and Mint, with additional exclusive colour options available on Samsung.com. Customers purchasing the devices will receive six months of Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud storage at no extra cost.
