Samsung Exynos Drives Audi’s Next Gen MIB

No this has nothing to do with Men In Black or the cars used in the movie, MIB here refers to Modular Infotainment System the in car display panel that does more than show the station you’re listening to which Audi will be incorporating into all their upcoming A4 and other models.

The third generation MIB will be tapping into the expertise of Samsung in making them more intuitive than ever before, The Exynos Auto 8890 processor will be powering the German automobile juggernauts  vehicles with advanced in-vehicle infotainment system to handle complex tasks never before seem in vehicles. It will assist in operating the Audi’s Multi Media Interface and its features such as audio, vehicle status control and navigation display on the display system. Users could even expect mobile interface similarity on the vehicle, which can include gesture, multi touch, fingerprint security and others.

Manufacturers are tapping to smartmobile makers for innovation especially on display and cabin navigation, Mercedes, BWM and Volvo have all started engaging with various chip makers to bring more seamless intuitive experience that phones have come to be.

The new Audi A4 with Exynos Auto 8890-powered IVI system will be available in Europe starting later this year.
