After much fanfare to its release, Final Fantasy XV will be getting an upgrade thanks to Square Enix when it introduces Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition. The game is slated for a 6 March 2018 release date with plenty of new content and features that makes the original Final Fantasy XV pale in comparison.
While this may be an updated version of Square Enix’s latest game, it still remains in the same story and premise, which follows Prince Noctis and his merry boyband as they try to reclaim back the fallen kingdom of Lucis.

One of the latest features introduced into the Royal Edition is the new dungeon, Insomnia City Ruins: Expanded Map. The game will also include new gear, new bosses and even a first-person mode to give you a different level of immersion.
In terms of the game’s core weapons known as Armiger, there is a new feature that will be released known as Armiger Unleashed. Once all 13 royal arms are part of your arsenal, a more action-oriented mode for the Armiger will be unlocked.

Another great feature for the Royal Edition is the Royal Vessel, which can now be manually controlled. This leaves the waters between Cape Caern and Altissia totally accessible for you to explore. What makes the Royal Edition worth investing in is because it comes with all the extra DLCs included. This includes Episode Gladious, Ignis and Prompto, as well as the Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades.
the pre-order for Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition is now available on both the PS4 and Xbox One at US$49.99 (approx. RM196.99).
