ASUS Republic of Gamers has expanded its lifestyle tech lineup in Malaysia with the launch of the ROG Archer Messenger 14 and Archer Backpack 16, blending gaming aesthetics with everyday practicality for users who move between work, travel and play.
Both new additions carry ROG’s angular design language inspired by an archer’s bow, positioning them as lifestyle accessories as much as functional gear. The launch reflects a growing trend in gaming hardware brands moving into daily carry essentials that extend beyond desks and battlestations.

The Archer Messenger 14 is designed for compact convenience, supporting laptops up to 14 inches while focusing on lightweight mobility. It features breathable shoulder straps, a mesh back panel for heat reduction and multiple compartments for daily essentials. A military-grade MOLLE system allows users to attach additional pouches or accessories externally, adding flexibility for on-the-go setups. Security is also a key focus with a dedicated RFID-blocking pouch for cards and travel documents.
Built with Cordura 610D water-repellent fabric, YKK zippers and Woojin buckles, the Messenger 14 is engineered for durability while maintaining a clean, urban look with ROG-themed detailing.

For those needing more space, the Archer Backpack 16 offers a larger, expandable design that fits laptops up to 16 inches. A zip expansion layer increases storage capacity for travel or heavier loads, while padded straps and a chest strap aim to reduce strain during long wear. A ventilated back panel is included to improve airflow during commutes.
Like its smaller counterpart, the Backpack 16 uses the same premium materials and ROG styling cues, reinforcing consistency across the series.
The Archer Messenger 14 is priced at RM359 while the Archer Backpack 16 is priced at RM499. Both are now available in Malaysia through the official ASUS eStore and selected authorised resellers, positioning them as premium options in the growing gaming lifestyle accessories segment.
