The RIUH event organized by MyCreative Group (MyCreative), Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) is now back in collaboration with its main strategic partner, Lazada, and media partner, Tonton, themed RITMA RAYA, “Celebrate Together, Shop Together”. The event will be held from 8th to 9th April 2023, from 3pm to 12am at Sentul Depot, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.
More than 20,000 visitors are expected to attend RIUH X Lazada, RITMA RAYA which will also feature 100 creative brands to promote their businesses and strengthen their commercial position during the festive season.
MyCreative’s Chief Executive Officer, Junady Nawawi said, that this edition of RIUH is more exciting with the collaboration of Lazada and Tonton, both of which have a high user reach. Against the backdrop of an early 1990s railway engineering yard, which has been revitalized by YTL Land & Development, the selection of Sentul Depot is in line with the concept of a farmer’s market for the RIUH X Lazada, RITMA RAYA event.
Throughout the two-day RIUH X Lazada, RITMA RAYA event, visitors will not only able to shop online-to-offline (O2O), but also support the charitable campaign “Shop for Good” spearheaded by Lazada together with Islamic Relief Malaysia and MyFundAction. The proceeds will be used to provide “Raya Packages” containing food, hygiene products, and other basic necessities to be distributed to over 3,000 recipients in Malaysia, including communities in Public Housing Projects (PPR), care homes, and orphanages. Visitors can also purchase or donate used clothing to Islamic refugees through a collaboration with
Refuge for the Refugees at the secondhand clothing store, LOOOP.
RIUH has also collaborated with the Malaysia Forest Fund (MFF) to raise public awareness on emissions and carbon footprints through interactive gaming approaches.
